I have been keeping an eye out for day four...i was hoping that it would go on sale, or someone would put it up for loan.I was lucky, the price went down to .99 cents. I bought it up quickly...the i saw that days 1-7 compilation was also on sale...so i bought that too. good choice.
SO. day four. We start to have the story split...i really don't understand why the author choose to write that it was howies journal...maybe a hint of whats to come in upcoming books. I had no idea...i just rolled with it.
Through his journal excerpts we learn more about the infection. how it thinks. how it is adapting...its really an interesting part of the whole series...like the infection can think. it can will...
there are a few really good scenes involving killing MASS amounts of zombies. We also learn that the infection can jump species. In day four, they get to the military place and meet some recruits...of course in a zombie apocalypse hilarity ensues... and to day 5. in --->The Undead. The First Seven Days.

Wow! Who knew that Howie and Dave could recruit and train their own army!?! There was a lot of action in this book...especially at the end, and the characters are amazing!
Very exciting day 4. Dave seems to be relaxing more, and we have met yet more survivors. An all out war ensues in this part. Very action packed. Off to London!
Amazing! This whole series is awesome. One of the best zombie books ever. A must read for everyone.
I enjoyed this book and the three before it they are a quick read. I look toward to the next one.
I cannot get enough of Howie and the gang. The story just keeps getting better and better.
Once more, the dynamic of Mister Howie and Dave is just a fun romp in the zombie apocalypse. I liked the new characters introduced on this day. My only complaints would be that I thought there was more recap than necessary at the start, and I'm not real fond of the nature of the infection. But I'm definitely still willing to tag along for the ride.
This is a fun serial zombie series. Not deep, just fun. I would have given it a 5 if it had better editing.
